Day out to Harris
With snow on the Harris hills this morning I went back to THAT viewpoint to get another photo under very different conditions. Standing there, minding my own business.....and a white tailed eagle appeared at eye level and flew straight towards me. It would have passed directly overhead had a crow not taken offence and forced it to change its direction. Sometimes it just comes down to pure luck ;-)

Day 24 - None of the photos you see online do Harris justice, especially when the sun's out, and after just two days I'm fair gobsmacked at the scale and beauty of the place :) Little wonder I sat in this sheltered spot at Seilebost for quite a while this afternoon, taking refuge from the gale raging on the other side of the sand dunes.
