Socially Enforced Gender.

Unlike AGAB/ASAB which is an event that happens at birth and doesn't always accurately describe a persons relationship to gender or even the kind of body they were born with (intersex people, perisex people with mistakes on their birth certificate etc) SEG is talking about the social phenomenon that surrounds a person.

Your SEG is whatever gender it is society decided/decides you were/are supposed to live as and therefore continued/s to enforce upon you by any means necessary (such as pointing out that your genitalia = you have to be this gender, your parents making you wear certain gendered clothing and do certain gendered activity as a child [plus society enforcing the same ideas of presentation and actions when you're older], verbal abuse, physical abuse etc etc etc).

It's even possible for a person to have multiple SEG's depending on circumstances. SEG might also be applied to nonbinary people who do have gender but feel that society is forcing androgyny/neutrality/agenderism upon them. It might also be applied to multigender people who feel they are being forced into monogenderism.

Honestly I need to use it more. Being AFAB is an act I'm apathetic about, it's that being so resulted in SEW (Socially Enforced Womanhood) that was and is the issue. It's stupid easy to fall back into ASAB/AGAB usage I really sincerely do need to stop it lol x)
