You give an idle wave at her apology, “Don’t worry about it, you’re always welcome.  And you’re not interrupting a thing– except, maybe breakfast, but I’m sure the girls will forgive you for that.”  You smile and step aside, gesturing her in.  Your daughters have themselves situated at the kitchen table, and you suppose a small introduction is in order.  “Sey, you remember Miss Rose,” The little troll nods and smiles through a mouthful at her.  The other little one is undeniably human, with hair to her shoulders and childishly bright red eyes that give away whose child she is, “And Rose, this is Aileen,” You say, ruffling the head of curly blonde hair and making said blonde giggle, “Say hi to Miss Rose, cutie,”  She does so, in the typical sloppy speech of a two year old.  You let the girls get back to their meals, leaning against the counter too look at Rose, “I don’t suppose you’d like something, too, would you?  Or some coffee?”

“I’m busy at the moment. Can you just find another staff to ask about it?”
