I suppose headcanons and meta and such could be the things related! I just wasn’t thinking about it. But yes, for those playing the same muse, they initially start with the same character as a base, before they pay close enough attention and they develop their own views of said character, make up their own headcanons, and so on and so forth.

honest truth? because I’m a bit of a sheep. but also because i like his character. heres how the process went though. SO, a couple good friends of mine were getting into the witcher and were gonna rp some characters and I didn’t wanna be left out. But I was also too broke and too lazy to buy the game and play it for myself. Plus there are three games so there was a hell of a lot to learn. So, I went looking on the wiki and I see Syanna, right? I think wow, what a prettyful babe, maybe I’ll rp her (even though I actually suck as female muses save one. shoutout to Kainé from NieR for being my babe.) but anywho, I'm reading through her page and see she has a lover (well, ex lover but I was determined to ship them anyhow) and I’m like ‘Oooh, lover’ and then I go to Dettlaff’s page and excuse me, but I have a thing for the mysterious, broody looking type, okay? So forgetting about Syanna, I read through his entire page and not only was he a dark and mysterious character, but he was tragic and kind and I knew that I definitely liked him. After that, I watched a Blood and Wine and after seeing his character in action, it was finalized. I wanted to bring him to life (optionally: again) and get into his head and so far I have not regretted it one bit!
