appearance and personality both play a really important part in how Dettlaff chooses a mate. however, I’m going to say that appearance comes first. it’s not the most important, but he’ll rarely ever approach a mate thinking ‘this one probably has a good personality’. it’s almost always for standing out / how beautiful they look to him. BUT! If he takes the time to speak and attempt to know someone and their personality proves to be lacking, or altogether awful, you have lost him. And in case you’re wondering, Dettlaff is most attracted to people who are confident, compassionate, strong, unprejudiced, humorous, adventurous, honest, and more that I can’t quite think of at the moment.
