Security, 2019
WTF?
So I was messing around with blog themes on tumblr when it suddenly wouldn't save my theme, confused, I exit.
I then log back in and a tumblr security notice popped up saying that they had noticed suspicious stuff going on with my blog and had stopped me from logging in in case of attack. I then reset my password and was confused.
I changed it again on another device in case.
Is this normal?
Edit: Now says this, This blog's custom theme has been reset because we detected suspicious code

I'm trying to get my tumblr back, I have not gotten a response from them. I downloaded Google Chrome and I'm trying to email support but it's taking forever to send

Tumblr is bullshitting me
Because tumblr wanted me to reset my password, i can no longer access my account on my computer. I can not recive the email to reset my password nor will tumblr allow me to just fucking make a whole new account. I will be mostly be deactivated on this blog till further notice.
Finally got past the stupid security notice warning from Tumblr
How I did it.
Requirements : Laptop + tumblr app from google play store
1st step: Clear browsing history and delete cookies from browser
2nd step : From your mobile tumblr app. Try Logging in, but click the "forgot password" option and send to email
3rd step : Search your email for any "tumblr" related categories.
*note - actually use the search bar in your email to find any tumblr related messages.
4th step : Found the tumblr link in email to reset and change password
5th step : Make a new password
6th step : Log your ass back in
7 th step : Tumblr all day every day until the security notice comes again
Security message
My account is closed to the computer becasw of that Damned security notice. I can't get it to unlock. I can use the phone app... Any suggestions??
