Seems like England is heading for another national lockdown.
In light of this, I think it's really important to push back against the lives vs jobs dichotomy. Not locking down might help the economy in the very short term, but longer term the projected 4000 deaths a day would not see "business as usual".
Businesses are already having to randomly close due to lack of available staff. That's not good for their long term futures either.
If you have any economic understanding, you can see that locking down short and hard would be best for businesses/the economy, as well as saving lots of lives.
I think it's really important to push back against the flawed rhetoric we see on this.
