Least Favorite character: Kyousuke.  I’m really glad Sayaka was able to get over him in Rebellion, watching her obsess over him in the main series is always so secondhand stressful for me.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): MadoHomu, KyouSaya…um…Madoka’s parents x each other?  …Mami x friendship?  That crazy teacher lady x SOMEBODY PLEASE JUST LET HER FIND HAPPINESS

Character I find most attractive: Homura (especially in the first timeline)

Character I would marry: Madoka would be the greatest spouse, seriously

Character I would be best friends with: I wanna say Homura but it’s probably one of those cases where we’d be so similar we wouldn’t get along, haha  :’D

Random thought: I’m really interested to see how the ending of Rebellion is resolved in whatever the next installment of the series winds up being.  Especially since the ending of Rebellion kind of negates the entire point/message of the ending of the original series, I’m interested to see if they go back to that original theme or take it in a different direction.

An unpopular opinion: It really disturbs me how the witch that killed Mami and devoured her corpse is now, as of Rebellion, basically Mami’s best friend??  (Especially in fandom.)

Pairing I am not a fan of: Homura x Sayaka, I guess

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Upon my third watch-through of the series a few months ago, I felt like Kyouko’s characterization was a little rushed.  It’s nice that she goes from “I’m gonna murder everyone and take their territory” to…well, I guess it’s not so much “sacrificing herself” as “being willing to commit murder-suicide out of love”…but it feels like there wasn’t enough development to make the switch believable.  She goes from “battle to the death with Sayaka just cus she annoys me” on the bridge, where they find out about the soul gems, and then her very next scene is where she takes Sayaka to her father’s church to explain her whole life story.  It just felt too abrupt to be believable, at least when I was watching it that time.

Favourite friendship: Madoka and Sayaka.  ;_;
