This bothers me every time I get in here in the LW ep. This is inside the Mursaat fortress, behind a door that ONLY opens for Mursaat (or for those wearing their armor, because Mursaat are morons when it comes to personal security. Comes with having an ego the size of Jupiter). The cooking fire, the pickaxe, the box of items, and that banner in the back left are NOT Mursaat. Which means SOMEONE got in here before me, probably via the fissure...but that fissure does nothing but let a pair of Destroyer crabs in. Small ones. And the scratches you can examine say “Something heavy was from here, probably into the fissure.” or something like that. ....the hell was in here? WHO was in here? It wasn’t a Dwarf, unless that banner is a dwarf banner. It wasn’t a Mursaat, because I doubt those guys hunker down and use cooking pots or pickaxes. And it wasn’t White Mantle (so far as I can tell) because this is INSIDE the sealed door, on the backside of that Mursaat-only defense. So just what the hell was in here? And where does this fortress lead to, since we basically only got to see the vestibule. Not much of a fortress if all it has is a single small room. I have so many questions...

Now this has been a while since OCR had their last Chrono Cross remix! (I think.) And Dead Sea (and Sealed Door of Chrono Trigger) is not a heavily remixed tune to begin with. The remix is definitely within the mood of the source tracks, melancholic, somber and very befittingly “retro-future”.
