it’s a subtle magic really, being able to take time and sculpt it - winding it like hair around your finger, so naturally that I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t even know you did it.

what was I doing, all that time I could’ve been letting your words bend reality around me? surely nothing was more worthy of my time - so now, i shouldn’t waste a second. I can’t. it's too addicting, sitting still and letting whatever it is that you do grow and blow and trickle around me until I am in a new world entirely. has it been a single, blissful minute where i’m reminded of the strengths of humanity? has it been three hours, i’ve spent on the greatest adventures? what is time? surely nothing, in your hands.

it's lucid dreaming, it's what movies constantly ache to achieve - its simultaneously feeling nervous anticipation and abundant, absolut safety. climbing a tree for the first time with perfect confidance that someone will catch you. the steady hand of someone you've known a thousand years as you step into adventures waters.

you are the eager pages of a novel turning turning turning, the smell of dust and magic flowing from old tomes and the crisp, clean sound of unopened chapters. you are comfortable silence and powerful, world shaking truths rolled into laughter and late night talks.

15. What's your favorite plotless fic that you've written?

lol most of my fics don't have a plot, but I'd have to say 'just a day'? maybe? it's very simple, but I think it works.

33. Give your writing a compliment.

hmm I like it when my writing kind of... hits a stride and gets a bit poetic? I know it doesn't always make sense but it feels good to read, I think.

36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?

normally I choose the main emotional theme? I think my titles are pretty basic, but nothing can top echolo-kissing, to be honest.

Okay I'm sorry I sat on this my dear! I kept thinking of things and then remembering we talked about it... but nevertheless have some little Ghost headcannons

first, I think you're good a puzzles. please don't ask me why I think your hair lightens in the summer and your eyes change colors just a bit when you have strong feelings.

second, I'm sure you pick up all sorts of little subtleties about people, even subconsciously. it gives you good instincts, even though sometimes you ignore them

thirdly, I think when you antique, you always notice details that make things unique, and special, just like people. I think you're kind to a fault, and sometimes your desire to be honest eats away at you a little.

I think you've never noticed it but flowers bloom when you walk by, and moss... doesn't squish when you step on it. I think if you ever have a garden the mushrooms will have tiny doors, invisible to most, and the plants will be unlike anything anyone has ever seen.

And I think just like you collect jars full of moonlight for the goodness of your soul, people collect metaphorical jars of you, in the form of your words, to nourish their own.

All of them, every single one of them, offers such a wide range of warmth and acceptance and love that it’s nigh-impossible for me to stay away for too long. The way you so expertly handle things like polyamory, the fear of not wanting children and not knowing if your partner wants the same, and having difficult discussions is next to none.

I find myself rereading your fics all the time, each time finding something new to fall in love with. I’m so proud of all that you’ve done and continued to do, from that very first fic you posted until now. And I’m so grateful to be able to call you my friend.
