&. jeongwook feat. moon !! --- continued from here.

PERHAPS WHAT HAD DRAWN jeongwook most to moon was that he'd seen more similarities with him than with anyone else. though for opposite reasons, they were both considered as social outcasts, basically. for jeongwook, it was his own choice as he often preferred smaller circles; if he could limit his group of friends to less than the number of fingers he had, the better. bigger crowds were louder, it made him feel smaller than he already felt for himself. moreso, a company of one or two other persons allowed for moments like this -- those when they were more uninhibited to be their own person.
jeongwook's arm moved to the other male's back, then to his opposite shoulder where it gave him a gentle squeeze. "some people do it because they couldn't much about their own lives to be happy," he explained. "it's this crazy belief they have that, if they can't be happy themselves, then no one else is allowed to either." the thought alone made jeongwook sad, not only for moon but for everyone who's ever been told that they couldn't or don't have the right to be purely happy. it's one of life's illogical injustices that would forever puzzle him. "hey, don't say that." jeongwook argued softly when he pulled his head back a little so he could look at moon. "you can be happy. you just have to learn to not look for it in others, start finding it inside of you."
