“God, this is so fucking weird.” Heather muttered under herbreath, pinching the bridge of her nose as she closed her eyes, shaking herhead a bit. Most of JD’s ‘fun activities’ for the two of them to do, could bedescribed this way. As well as slightly illegal. Sure, she always enjoyed them,but that didn’t change the fact that she had the same reaction towards thebeginning each time she was convinced by JD to go through with whatever stupidplan he had come up with.

“And just like everything else we do around here, it’s aboutto get weirder.” JD smirked to himself as he dug around the bag that he hadbrought with him, before handing Heather a can of spray paint.

“Veronica is going to kill you.”

“Ah, I’m sure she’ll appreciate it. Besides, if she kills methat means you’re dead too, Heather.” He gestured to the can that he had givenher, and as he continued to speak, grabbed one for himself. “You’re just asresponsible for what’s about to happen as I am.”

She scoffed as she began to shake the can, grinning up athim. “You think I don’t know that already? We both have paint, JD!” She rolledher eyes playfully, beaming as she looked back up at him. “But you are wrongabout one thing; Veronica wouldn’t kill me.”

“Really? And why exactly would she kill me and not you?”

She simply shrugged. “We’ve known each other longer, yourrebellious streak is much worse than mine,” JD laughed and earned a side eyefrom Heather as she tried to maintain a smug face. “Meaning she’ll probablybelieve that I’m just an… innocent victim who you forced to do this!” At thelast part of her sentence, she draped an arm across her forehead dramatically,closing her eyes as she tried to sound as helpless as possible.

“Forced you tograffiti the school..?” The smirk on his face slowly made its way into a grin.“Actually… Veronica may kill you before she does me.”

“Oh, shut up!” She glared at him playfully as she hit him inthe side lightly, laughing to herself.

JD aimed the can of spray paint at her, taking the top offit as he did so. “This shit isn’t poisonous, right?” He said to himself, thoughmaking sure it was loud enough for Heather to hear, as he closely examined thecontainer.

Heather shoved it away from herself with one hand and backto JD. “Let’s save that question for next time.”

“Next time, huh? Are you volunteering?”

“To shoot spray paint at you?” She gave him a smile thatseemed so sweet, it gave off an almost wicked energy. “Of course, Jason!”

Much like Veronica, Heather rarely ever called him Jason. Andwhen she did, it was always in mock-serious situations such as this one.Veronica on the other hand, only called JD by his real name when she was pissedoff at him.

“Ha, ha, very funny. Now, let’s look over the plan I have, shallwe?” He pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket and unfolded it as he showedit to Heather.

She looked over it carefully and eventually gave a nod of approval.“It’s good. But we’re not writing the s like that.”

“That’s the best part!”

She raised an eyebrow at him. “The way you drew the s is thebest part? It doesn’t go with how the rest of the letters are written! Plus, halfthe kids in school just write shit like that in their notebooks when they’rebored in class.”

“And what’s wrong with that? It’s fun to draw,” He laughed abit to himself, shoving his hands in his pocket as he continued to watchHeather carefully examine what he had drawn. “And, if so many people at school haverandom shit like that in their notes, then it’ll be impossible for them tonarrow it down to us! It’s perfect!”

“And what about the fact that it’s the only letter writtenthat way?”

“Individuality,” He draped an arm over her shoulder as helooked over his own work. “That’s what this whole thing is going to represent!And one letter being different from the rest just, really screams individualitydoesn’t it?”

She furrowed her brows as she looked up at him. “Are youhigh?”

“No. So… about the s?”

She rolled her eyes with a laugh as she shrugged him off her.“Fine, we can write it like that. Your stupid individuality bullshit convincedme.”

He grinned down at her and ruffled her hair. “Symbolismalways does, Heather. Now, let’s get started.”

Many cans of spray paint later, the two of them sat down onthe ground, staring up at their work in admiration.  “It’s perfect.” Heather said with a happysigh.

“It really is. Told you the s was a good decision.”

“I admit, you were right.” She smiled up at him. “You toldVeronica to bring her camera tomorrow, right?”

“Mmh. She doesn’t know about this though. I wanted to seeher reaction.”

Heather laughed a bit to herself. “God, I can’t wait to seeher face. You ready to run if she gets pissed?”

He grinned to himself as he looked down at her. “Not that it’sgoing to come to that; she’ll love it. But yes.”

She nodded as she looked back at the wall, tilting her headto the side as she examined it with furrowed brows. “It feels like it’s missingsomething.”

“We should sign it.”

“Are you crazy?! We’ll probably get a fine or some shit!”

“Not with our names.” Heather watched JD curiously as hestood up, grabbing a half empty can of spray paint that was on the ground nearhim. He walked over to the mural before crouching down a bit, shaking the canbefore starting to sign something at the bottom.

When he had finished and stepped away, Heather came forwardto see what he had written.

She grinned to herself, letting out a laugh. “It’s perfect!”

JD nodded, folding his arms over hid chest with a smirk. “Figuredyou’d like it. Now, let’s get the paint cans cleaned up and I’ll give you aride home.”

The morning for the two of them had gone on as usual, thoughthey were anxiously waiting to see the reaction that everyone else would haveto what they had done. Heather had called Veronica to tell her to come toschool early since her and JD were going to do the same. She made sure not to tellher anything, considering she was even more excited to see her reaction to whatthe two of them had done then she was anyone else. And she knew that JD feltthe same way. She refused to spoil the fun for them.

JD pulled into the parking lot on his motorcycle, a grin onhis face when he saw Veronica standing in front of the wall with a crowd ofother students. Heather got out of her car at around this same time, smirkingto herself as she walked over to JD.

“Time to find out if we’ll both get to live to see anotherday,” She hummed, glancing over to where Veronica was standing.

JD laughed a bit as he got off his bike. “Sounds like aplan,” He said, beginning to walk with Heather.

Veronica was staring at the graffiti with just as muchsurprise on her face as anyone else. Though her shock seemed to have a moreamused undertone to it then some of the surrounding people, who for the mostpart were laughing about the vandalization. JD and Heather were extremelypleased about this.

‘Be Gay, Do Crimes’ was written in bubble letters (minus thes) on the wall, with a bright and colorful background contrasting the usualplain white of the school. Heather had said it would make a perfect canvas, andshe couldn’t have been more right. In the bottom right corner, it was signed ‘TheSaviors of Westerburg High’.

“Like it?” JD asked as he wrapped an arm around Veronica’swaist, staring up at his and Heather’s work with a smirk.

“You two did this?” She asked with a laugh.

“Who else would have? Come on, Ronnie, you know us both.”Heather smiled brightly at her, bouncing on her heels a bit. “You brought yourcamera?”

“Already took a picture,” She said, holding the photo out tothe two of them. “I’ve gotta say, it’s impressive work. Not to mention what yousigned off as.”

“Yeah, I think it could become a series. We could graffitidifferent shit on the school like this. Try and offer everyone a little…helpful advice.” Just from the sound of his voice, anyone could tell JD waslooking forward to continuing vandalizing the school. “You could even join usnext time, Ron.”

“Could be fun,” She mused with a smirk. “What do you think,Heather?”
