Northern Monk Expedition Hazy IPA (Picked up at a Scotmid in Edinburgh). A 3 of 4. A solid, middle-of-the-road hazy IPA -- has the tropical fruit and orange citrus in the nose you’d expect, and a slightly creamy body with some sticky lacing that hangs around forever. A touch of fruit-like acidity in the body cuts through the juicy sweetness, and it all fades to a firmly bitter finish.

Robinsons Brewery / Scotmid Coop Triple Hop Ale (Picked up at a Scotmid in Edinburgh). A 2 of 4. Smells of caramel malt and some roasty qualities, as well as faint grassy and spice hop notes. Drinks much the same. Nothing bad about this, but nothing particularly great, either -- right down the middle on most qualities.
Thornbridge + Brewgooder New England Pale Ale (Picked up at a Scotmid in Edinburgh). A 3 of 4. Smells of orange/tangerine, and has a clean soft body with some interesting yeasty qualities. Some faint tropical fruit lingers, and this finishes slightly on the sweet side.
Northern Monk Faith Hazy Pale Ale (Picked up at Scotmid in Edinburgh). A 3 of 4. Smells of a mix of citrus and floral notes, and has a thicker body than I'd expect at 5.4%. Soft on the palate with some nice fruity sweetness that lingers -- quite refreshing.
BrewDog Jack Hammer IPA (Picked up at a Scotmid in Edinburgh). A 3 of 4. Primarily orange and grapefruit in the nose and a nice pith-like bitterness up front. Some sweeter juicy qualities to balance in the body, and then a firm, dry bitterness to finish. Not the most complex profile ever, but quite nice and aggressive.
