i kind of go crazy every time im reminded of wsh and the cross on his chain for reasons i cant say here so i really wanted to include that. also bcs my primary inspiration for writing this was tshd and leviticus trailer, both having something to do with religion.

maybe one day ill write more about mack and his old / new will but i think this is it for now ^^

i wasn't originally planning on writing fraser pov of the apartment they won't share bcs imagine a house was written during my dark times (thesis proposal defense preparation) as something to take my mind of things (like my smoke break except i dont smoke) but i heard this song and couldnt let go of it bedmint wise so here it is + don't know if being in the airport 2 hrs before boarding is normal or if it's too much time but google says it is so ...

anyway, details, details, details ! probably nobody cares, but i really wanted there to be differences in the houses and routines they imagine, as well as similarities, so here's what that looked like in my drafts

and the alternative ending that was supposed to be a time jump to imagine a house's timeline, but then im not sure if i want to definitively say that this drive happened before / after imagine a house so i took it out. i feel like bedmintwise i like it when the timeline is blurry bcs it's like they're stuck in a loop of will they wont they so :D

also very subtle but if u saw the orpheus eurydice reference im giving u a big fat kiss on the cheeks <3

lastly . wood worker connor bedard stays on my mind 24/7 .... it genuinely makes me go crazy like ... the noah calhoun of it all ... the marias back to me of it all ... a house down across the sea lake ...

connor bleeding .. yeah ... this was originally inspired by minty bleeding (yeah /that/ bleeding) but then news of connor not going to worlds hit the dash and solidified that i want him back in yearningcity so here it is. will probably come back to edit some stuff here and there but i think for now it is what it is, also def recommend listening to earrings by malcolm todd ! no correlation to the fic whatsoever except for the vibes and the fact that ive been listening to it nonstop

ta da … its finally finished … it legit feels like this fic has aged me 10 years ..

the referenced books are giovanni's room and kite runner ! giovanni's room and bedmint … aigooo (if u've read this i recommend also reading swimming in the dark and lie with me, i read this three in succession and it made me want to tear my hair out). i read kite runner for school a long time ago and that line really just stuck with me so i wanted to include it here too
