Takemichi's favorite physical contact is holding your hand. It doesn't matter if you're walking down the street, watching a movie, or talking with friends; he'll intertwine his fingers firmly with yours. For him, feeling your hand is his greatest reminder that you're safe and by his side.

Despite being your boyfriend, he still gets incredibly shy when you show him unexpected affection. If you steal a kiss on the cheek in public or hug him unexpectedly, his face will turn bright red, and he'll start stammering with a nervous smile.

His hugs are enveloping and a little dramatic. He'll often cling to you and bury his face in your shoulder, taking deep breaths. You don't need to know everything he's been through to understand that being in your arms is his only moment of absolute peace.

Forget about lavish plans. Your dates with Takemichi will consist of eating burgers and fries at fast-food joints, walking in the park sharing a melting ice cream cone, or spending the afternoon at the arcade trying to win a plushie on the claw machine (and failing miserably until he finally succeeds after twenty attempts).

Takemichi will celebrate every little good thing that happens to you as if he'd won the lottery. Did you pass a difficult exam? Had a good day at work? He'll jump for joy, congratulate you with eyes sparkling with pride, and want to take you out to dinner to celebrate.

It's inevitable that he'll show up at your place with some scrape, bruise, or new bandage. Your routine will include sitting him on your bed while you carefully clean his wounds. He'll complain a little about the stinging, but he'll completely melt when you kiss the injured area "so it heals faster."

Takemichi may not be the best fighter and he may be afraid of many things, but if someone dares to bother you or put you in danger, all that fear vanishes. He'll step between you and the threat without a second thought. He doesn't care about taking a beating himself as long as he makes sure you don't get a scratch.

When you're having a bad day or doubting yourself, Takemichi will be your greatest support. He'll look you straight in the eyes and tell you how amazing, strong, and special you are. His words have a magical power because he speaks them with such pure sincerity that it's impossible not to believe him.

Deep down, all the effort Takemichi puts in every day is to ensure a future where you can smile. When he gazes at you silently with a nostalgic and tender smile, it's because he's thinking about how lucky he is to have you in his life and is internally promising himself to make you the happiest person in the world.
