After about a month of fiddling and beard scratching this guy left the shop today. The hamon came out really nice on this blade, and I'm excited to have learned some new tricks with spine shoulders. Here's some photos of the #Redrising project we just finished. @piercebrownofficial, the author of the series, dubbed this one "Sevro's Toothpick". . It's been a real treat and an honor to think up, and then create something that only exists in the realm of science fiction. Here's a quick fly by of the #redrising sword project. Just a recap, this project is for our friend @piercebrownofficial to celebrate the completion of his Red Rising book series. He was kind enough to hook us up with a copy of his audio book so we could listen to it in the shop. Our task was to make something futuristic and savage inspired by the pages of his novel.
