i was a school cook and would carpool with my dad as it was on his way to his job. if the weather was good, i'd ride my scooter home. (i'd put it in the back of the car and take it with me inside.)
once i forgot to take my morning meds, and i mentioned that to a teacher friend. he said,
"oh, can't you ride your scooter home and take your meds during the lunch break?"
and i looked him In The Eyes and said,
"Colin, I am the lunch break."
When you finally realise at age 20 the reason school lunches tasted so nice as a kid is because your mum can’t actually cook.
