it’s been two years, and if scott thought there was a chance theo was going to ditch the pack, it’s been lessening every month that passes. who’d have thought that someone murdered could learn to like their murderer? of all people, perhaps scott mccall - the boy who finds the good in everyone. so he may or may not be closer to theo, may be actually friends with him -- which is why he’s invited to this new years party. even if everything’s a lot less hostile, scott still finds him kinda standing off by himself, sipping on some kind of punch. it makes him feel bad --- bad that he isn’t socializing more, and doesn’t have someone to talk to. so he makes his way over to him, to talk, when they both notice the countdown. the action comes easily -- without warning, scott leans in and brushes a soft kiss over theo’s lips. nothing passionate, but nothing too quick, either; just enough to give him that final moment of we’re okay; they’ll be okay. he flashes a grin before taking a sip of punch and nodding for him to join him to where the rest of the festivities are.
