in short - if susie pushes and hammers on kris, keeps reminding them that they're human, that they're angry, that they're dangerous, that they restrain themselves, that this is a false world where they don't have to hold back... well. they lash out, more and more. early on they just knock enemies out with their shield (and they stay sprawled there, unconscious). they actually lose their nonviolent act options as the route goes on, just wanting to fight, bc that's what susie has been pushing them to do, right? too late to stop now.
until finally they're up against ralsei, and...
