Finally I finished this!

New ref for Scareye. I still love her old ref but I wanted to make some updates to her design and draw her more detailed because in her old ref I rather simplified her

Anyway hope there are no errors and if there are... oh well

Now I'm about to ramble a little bit about her species

So Shooting star merfolks are small/medium sized creatures that got their name from resembling shooting stars when they glow and glide above the ocean. They live either solitary or in groups and they are very friendly towards other members of their species. Shooting stars may bond with other sea creatures. If they live in teritory of another larger sea creature they may try to offer a truce by bringing them gifts, helping them with hunting in exchange for not harming them. The sea creature may start to protect the shooting star. The bond after some time still may remain "professional" but in other cases the star and the sea creature can become friends.

There are cases when the shooting stars bonded with sailors helped them with fishing in exchange for sharing the catch but in other cases if sailors were disrespectful, overhunted and threw trash into the ocean the shooting star led large, dangerous sea beast to the sailors, this gave the shooting stars a nickname "snitches" among the sailors.

The beast closed his eyes again, as he felt her gentle fingers inside his fur and growled happily. His tail wagged slightly on the ground. “The forest is fine. The hunters are gone…. thanks to you…. the animals can live in peace now…. but the soldiers come here from time to time and look, if they can find me.”

Scareye snuggled his head closer to her belly and breathed deeply. “I…. I missed you very much, Mercy. There wasn’t a day, I didn’t thought of you. The first woman in my life, who talked with me…. a terrible beast from the forest. A woman who trusted me with her life, that I will come and safe you. Most of the time I thought, if you managed to live this place and found your way home… and now you are here again… and finally I know, that you are fine. Now I’m happy….. very happy.”

The teen couldn't help but to smile, seeing how bright and pleased the werewolf was with the work that Mercy had done. Yes that was the main reason why she remained to be a 'slayer' it wasn't so much for destroying vampires or other supernatural creatures, she much more preferred to set peace, to help others even when they were inhuman creatures themselves. It brought her so much joy to see him like this. 

" Don't mention it, I know all would be alright  as long as I trusted you.  Now there is no need to be worried any longer as you and the forest are able to live in peace. I'm just glad that I could help you, and that you after all those months still do remember me."   Then again, not many females would probably get out on their own into woods like these. Let alone that they would do that at night time when there was a full moon present.
