They are specific...

Archion has snow white scales that shimmer like diamond.

Narith has beautiful sky blue scales.

Ember has gorgeous molten gold scales.

Vessarel has deep purple scales that pulls people in. I don’t know the exact shade but it’s dark purple.

Verath has blood red scales.

Sayah has deep black scales.

Ciyradyl has emerald green scales.

Asa has dark forest green scales.

Iddraras has bronze scales that are on the lighter side. (But still darkish.)

Yes, the MCs scale color will be locked in. As it would be really odd for them to be one color one day and a different the next. The draconian personality is it’s own thing whithin the human personality... though it does personify the inner workings of them both. So you can mature, of course, but that won’t change the base of who you are. If that makes sense 😅.

It’s a mixture of both, but the scale-color doesn’t mean a dragon can’t act a certain way. It’s just a good indicator of what their personalities will be like. For instance a purple dragon would more than likely be more refined than a red dragon. While a red dragon would be more brusque than a purple... if that makes sense. But there are times where the lines blur a bit.

Guys, I'm willing to change a lot of things for you. I'm willing to add more ROs if that's what would make you happy, and I enjoy doing it because it adds more to the story. I am willing to create characters for you that you will be able to meet and interact with in game (that you guys design, not me). I'm willing to do a lot of things for you all because I love you. So please let me have at least this, and let me say no.

I'm not doing this to be mean or to be exclusive. I'm doing this simply because it makes sense for the story. The Dracaryean are split between two different personalities, their human and their draconian. The human side influences the draconian, and vice versa. They are one and the same but they are their own thing. So your choices will affect the draconian form, but it will still be it's own thing. You won't always be able to control it, because it does have it's own wants. (There will be stats in the game for how much you let it take control. Meaning how much you let your anger/primal instincts control you.) So you can't just choose what scale color you want, because that's negating the fact that the draconian form is it's own thing, and has it's own personality going on. And while it is you... it isn't too. So the human side will influence it. Hence why it's your choices that help the color be decided, and not just picking it. Because, I want to make the two forms separate but the same. Two beings in one body working in harmony with one another.

You are correct. A Dracaryean's form is tied to their personality, and the colors of the scales reflect it.

Loreena: She would be a red dragon because those are the first ones on the battle field. Just like Loreena always is. She's just as fierce as any Dracaryean warrior. Never leaving a man behind if she could help it. She would be the warrior class.

Robin/Robyn: R would be a green dragon because those are usually the partners of the red. While not weak they are like the archers to a knight. Or a rogue to a warrior... if that makes sense. Their agility and speed can deal a lot of damage but they can take serious damage if they're not careful.

Edmund: I could see Edmund as a red dragon too, and while he a warrior I'm not picking red because of that. I'm picking it because Edmund is a very passionate person. And the red dragons embody that. When they feel they feel with a burning hot fire. (He would also be a warrior class.)

Esmé: Esmé would be a platinum dragon. For those were the one's that were filled to the brim with elegance and class. Their scales sparkling like millions of diamonds in the sun. Esmé embodies what a platinum Dracaryean is. She would be a diplomatic Dracaryean.

Ayleth: Ayleth would be a gold dragon, because those were the ones that were most adept at magic. Being able to wield their Dracaryean powers proficiently within and outside of their draconian form. Ayleth would be a warrior Dracaryean but the mage portion.

Cedric: Cedric would be a blue dragon. While he is a warrior through and through, something much greater shines within him. His loyalty. Blue dragons were the most loyal of all the Dracaryean. Never one to tell someone else's secret, and making sure that the ones they loved were safe. (Cedric would be a warrior class too.)

Caspian: Caspian would be a black dragon. Black dragons were the scouts/spies for the Dracaryean. Being able to fly through the night and never be seen. The shadows seemingly attaching and reattaching to their forms.

Aghadi: Aghadi would be a red dragon too. But again not because he's a warrior, although that plays a part. It's because of his strength and perseverance to keep going. Despite all the odds pulling him down, he will always get back up to fight again. Especially if it meant keeping the ones he loved safe.

Alister: Alister would be a white dragon. White dragons were the purest of all Dracaryean. For they never wanted to harm a thing, unless there was just cause. They protect with their entire being and do everything within their power to solve something without bloodshed. Because they believe that there was enough unhappiness in the world, and that the good should finally shine through.
