California’s Net Neutrality Bill headed to New York!
I’m a bit late on this news because of finals lol, but on the bright side, the same bill that ISP’s feared from CA SB-822 is making its way to New York. Let’s support it there and have it make its way to every other state! It would be a strong statement to Congress that we know what the hell we’re talking about when we say that we want Net Neutrality to stay. And I’m on board for whatever ISP’s are scared off.Â
In the meantime, our best bet right now is to vote out all the politicians who are against Net Neutrality, (so keep it a hot topic, even after the “official” repeal on June 11 or whenever that’ll be since Pai keeps pushing the date back. Go sign up for a voters registration if you haven’t yet.) And there are other things we can do too, like raising awareness for fake Net Neutrality bills and keeping track of the politicians who sold us out to big telecoms.  Â
(Also for those of you in CA, call 916-823-9612 and ask your Senate to vote YES on the SB 822. It passed all the major preliminaries so all it has to do now is to vote YES to be passed.)Â
At this point, I’ll be posting and updating whatever else we can do. Let’s keep Net Neutrality a hot topic. It’s not over even after June 11.   Â
