One of the dynamics that I need to explore at some point is Mami and Sayaka, the two of them are so fun to think about but usually my attention is on other dynamics with those two but god the two of them
There is something special with them that needs to be explored (something that I might try to find fics about but eh)
I think the most interesting thing about them is that to Sayaka, Mami is the ideal, the perfect magical girl, something that embodies what she wants to be, shes on the forefront of her thoughts and Mami's image consumes Sayaka and spirals her into despair when she cannot imitate it, but to Mami? To Mami Sayaka is a number two, she cares about her, she does want to befriend her, but it's Madoka who she grows the closest with, it's Madoka who she confines with, it's Madoka who she taught first, she likes Sayaka I'm sure, but there is such a large difference in how they see each other it makes me feel insane
Mami cares for Sayaka so much, but Sayaka reveries her so much more, she is a holy figure, a saint, an example, something that cannot and should not be tainted
It's a rift that only exists in one other relationship in the holy quintet and it's Madoka and Homura and Sayaka wasn't even stuck in a timeloop for an excuse smh smh
God the more I think about them the more insane I feel about them, I need to put them in a box and shake them a normal amount
