@firedragon1321 I'll have to think about the top ten traumatizing moments more thoroughly, because we have to differentiate between "what happened BEFORE the events of them getting into the Digital World" and "what happened since then". Because otherwise, you could literally just name EVERY bit of familial trauma, so you have the first 7 spots easily secured. (Everyone minus Mimi, but I'm not judging who has it the worst. Because everyone is troubled in pretty haunting ways.)
The Vademon episode is still a special type of nightmare fuel to me, I used to actually avoid rewatching it for a while because it causes a visceral reaction in me - and the novel made it even worse. I still think it's horrible that Koushirou went through that kind of mind corruption only with Tentomon by his side; imagine being 10, struggling with your sense of self and then you're told that thing you do/like best will bring you straight to hell if you don't abandon your personality the queer subtext here is also insane, but I digress and then it was NEVER mentioned by anyone ever again. (Bias aside, I will forever mope about him connecting with Taichi despite being stripped of ALL desires whatsoever and Taichi was horrified to see him AND IT WAS NEVER BROUGHT UP AGAIN.)
As for a spontaneous shortlist of other traumatizing moments, let's add a few other near-death/actual death exposure scenes:
- Taichi causing his partner to evolve into a literal symbol of decay, almost killing himself on an electrical fence, guilt-tripping himself over taking his sister into the DW and almost watching her getting blown up. Taichi is a walking trauma dump, what else is new.
- Everytime Jyou almost died (fell, got choked, drowned) protecting someone else - especially Takeru, who had to watch the whole thing.
- Sora seeing herself in Piyomon as she is on the brink of dying after she closed herself off for weeks, desperately seeking for her best friend, who may or may have died after saving her; constantly letting herself be gaslit about her own intentions and "imperfections".
- Yamato almost freezing to death after fearing the worst may have happened to his brother, constantly dealing with the fear of succumbing to his own inferiority complex when it comes to Taichi and Takeru, letting himself eventually get corrupted so he almost ends up killing his supposed rival.
- Angemon's, Wizarmon's and Leomon's deaths in particular among every other mon-deaths. (In general, Takeru and Hikari constantly having to face death as the youngest members definitely shows their inability to process everything in 02 and onwards...)
- The entirety of the Apocalymon arc, being turned into data and about to be deleted, hearing a lecture about purpose and natural selection and how their duty was actually harmful to some degree. Heck, I still believe the whole Dark Masters Arc was one hell of a trauma fuel for everyone, the child soldier vibes are SO different from File Island Arc, it's jarring.
Pretty sure I forgot quite a few things, but at the top of my head, that's it. #DigimonIsAFunSeries
Also, shit, I think I keep switching between saying "Koushiro-han" like Tentomon and "Sora~" like Piyomon as a vocal stim (both of which while mimicking their voices somewhat đ)
I think it happens automatically, I generally tend to mimic speech patterns (it's a VA habit, really, haha).

Also, seeing "They could remember when vegetation had first sprouted out of the bare earth and grown thickly into the lush environment they now resided in." Imagining the babies seeing "winter" turn to "spring" and the absolute wonder on their little faces fills my heart with joy đ
One of 5467335 reasons why I love and adore the novels so much. :') Everything is just... Such a beautiful addition to the story we already know, adding scenes, thought processes of singular characters. Of course it's not the exact same, some scenes/characterizations play out a little differently - so it can be seen as another alternate timeline -, but it still adds so much. :')

It's been a while since I worked on an original Digimon design. But since it's a day off today and I've been thoroughly back into my personal Koura framing madness... I thought about their potential Jogress evolution and how Tri has robbed us of it. The third or fourth movie should have been theirs, just saying.
I just thought about how great it would have been to not only have it been born over Sora's and Koushirou's bond with each other, but also over their devotion to Taichi (and by extension, Yamato as well). By having them wish to fight alongside, support and protect him/them.
The design itself borrowed mostly from HeraklesKabuterimon, Hououmon, a bit of Garudamon and Silphymon - and of course the general idea of them being rather humanoid (and non-binary, because this would be the first Jogress evolution of Chosen Children with different genders - who may or may not struggle with their own self-representation). The helmet and armor are mostly taken from HeraklesKabuterimon, the head, the brain; whereas most of the body (shoulder pads!), wings are mostly inspired by Hououmon, the free spirit, the beauty... They're protectors, they're shields, they're knights. They love their redheads and will do whatever it takes to grant their wishes. (The height might still be variable, depending on demand. Not surprising that they have orange-reddish hair, huh? On a different note, Reboot!Tentomon once mentioned he was jealous of Garudamon's long hair, so...)
The name, Talosmon, is still WIP, but I liked the idea of basing it on the Greek (bronze) giant, Talos, created by Zeus to protect Europa and those He desired to protect out of love... It of course doesn't fit 100%, because they're meant to be golden, but the overall theme still fits!
Digimon Adventure (02 + Tri) Relationship Analysis: Why Sora and Koushirou are actually closer than you think (Part III)
Part I and part II of this analysis focused primarily on how their bond was defined throughout Adventure 01. Additionally, I want to take a look at how it progresses in 02 and Tri - and why I think that Koushirou and Sora might actually be excellent Jogress partners.
Digimon Adventure Relationship Analysis: Why Sora and Koushirou are actually closer than you think (Part I)
Looking deeper into Digimonâs different character dynamics, some relationships appear to be more obvious/visible than others. When talking about Sora for example, itâs easy to see how she is the âcalmingâ force between Taichi and Yamato, being particularly familiar with the former (due to their football club history) and being one of the characters who believes in Yamato the most. Itâs also clear that she has a gentle and supportive relationship with Mimi, a mutually encouraging bond with Jyou and a sisterly role towards Takeru and Hikari. Koushirou shares his closest relationship in Adventure with Taichi - and this is where looking at his relationship with Sora becomes an interesting factor (Part II + Part III).

The fact that in the digimon adventure novels, Koushiro first thought Motimon was an animatronic at a theme park and thought he was playing dumb when he says "Um, Koushiro-han? What's a theme park?" Is sending me. Robot or not, if he's saying he has no clue what a theme park is, I'd so tell him all about one if i were in that situation đ
Speaking of, overall, I somewhat applaud Koushiro for not caring too much about how absolutely adorable Motimon is because again, if I were in that situation, I'd probably cry on the spot just over how cute he is đ
I think Takeru was the only one who was immediately smitten by Tokomon, whereas the others were on a scale between startled (Jyou, Taichi) to "Why is that thing following me???". I mean, Koushirou literally just walks ahead if I remember correctly while Motimon is barely able to catch up to him. And man, I love the whole "Kou goes into full conspiracy mode", telling Taichi about how they may have been kidnapped and are now at a big themepark, full of animatronics. It makes sense for him to rationalize everything at this point before discovering all the digital shenanigans. Novel!Koushirou is still somewhat detached from everything at this point, so cute things may actually not have any meaning to him (and his parental qualities have not been awakened yet, we'll save that for the Dark Masters Arc onwards), but it makes the slow development between him and Tentomon even sweeter.

It has come to my realization that Pichimom/Pukamon and Babumon/Motimon were opposites when they got to their child forms because one had flying abilities and lost them while the other didn't and gained them! XD
Digimon evolution lines are the best thing ever. They don't always make sense, and when they don't, they go completely bonkers with it and I love that. XD

I looked back at this picture wondering why the hug Koushiro gave Motimon hurt a bit
And though it's most likely because he is so happy to see the lil guy and to thank him for saving his life in more ways than 1 that episode (which is EXTREMELY sweet đ), I can also see it being because
He is so used to giving occasional bug hugs
I also think this moment is a great testiment of Koushirou's personal development. You did provide screenshots of him holding Tentomon prior to this moment, but most physical touch between them up to this point had been out of "necessity" (usually involving having to flee fast + using Kabuterimon as a ride). Like I pointed out in the one edit, Koushirou happens to be more "easily affectionate" with Motimon - and I feel like that's a very important aspect for someone who "grew timid of interacting with other people" (novel quote). Usually, it's others who initiate touch (mostly Taichi, which happens naturally and frequently - but he also seems at least comfortable in Sora's close proximity).
But here, after arguably one of the most traumatizing moments in Adventure (top 10 at least), it's both sweet and heartbreaking that Koushirou feels drawn to hug his partner like that. On one hand, Koushirou "throwing away his inquisite heart", thus betraying his true nature, has led to Tentomon regressing until he may have completely vanished - and Koushirou did apologize for his behaviour, indicating that he did feel guilty about it. (Which is an ongoing theme for him, because accepting himself the way he is is difficult if it actually or presumably causes problems for others, such as his parents, Mimi, etc. So hiding behind his laptop is a lot easier. In this case, the novel goes even deeper into his identity crisis: "You cannot possibly gather all the knowledge you'd like to, so what is the point? Wouldn't it be easier not to stress and to not care at all? How about we rid you of your anxiety by removing your ability to talk?" I still believe the parallels to The Little Mermaid are extremely strong, but I digress.)
On the other hand, you are absolutely right - despite everything he did, his partner came out on top, evolved and literally saved his sanity, his soul and his life. I know I am quoting the novel a lot, but up to the card riddle solving, Koushirou did have self-esteem issues and considered himself "somewhat worthless". That is absolutely NOT coming through by watching the anime, because he is usually so confidently investigating, providing guidance or info dumping (and especially in the English dub, you may think of him as rather snarky and even cocky). But yeah... Here, he is definitely thankful to be alive, to not have caused himself and his partner to dissolve, to HAVE Motimon by his side. So the hug would have turned out more tightly than intended... :')
@lilakaonashi I love to ramble about Taichi's character development (evolution and regression alike) and I still want to write a full comparison post between 02/Beyond/13+!Taichi and Tri/Kizuna!Taichi (but my laptop is currently broken, so I have to reduce myself a little here).
I find your remark interesting that there already is that discrepancy between Adventure and 02 and then again with all ongoing iterations. The frustrating part really is that after Adventure (but still implied in 02 and definitely more focused on in Tri), his behaviour isn't specifically explained in text. There is tons of subtext, but a lot of it is still "interpretation". I like to come back to him being surrounded by death symbolism and a strong guilt complex (that also leads to dangerously self-sacrificial tendencies), because that idea still explains at least a part of his behaviour.
Becoming more aloof and distanced from 02 onwards, knowing "his duty", but still struggling to commit to it, so he constantly toggles between courageous (or impulsive) forth-pushing and overthinking in isolation. (The stageplay is also a nice source of reference because it focuses a lot on how he would like to be like his 11-year-old self again, but feels more like a coward for wanting and not knowing how to protect everyone and everything. And it's nice that the others actually call him out on it for once.)
Another problem is that Tri and Kizuna both want to maintain his main character status, but kinda have to keep regressing him again and again for that, so the angst can revolve around him. Tri explains that it's mainly his fear of sacrifices and collateral damage - in Kizuna, he has overcome that fear, but it FEELS like he's using his duty as procrastination while also trying to conform to "normal" adulthood, which is where the fandom's neglect theory comes in. We can only assume that he keeps away from his family because he feels guilty (and depressed) for being directionless.
I think this is where comparing Kizuna!Taichi to 13+!Taichi will be fascinating, because they're two what-if-scenarios: One side represents what he would have been if he tried (and failed) to distinguish himself from being a Chosen Child and the other side represents what he would have been if he never stopped committing himself to it. (He probably still has a guilt complex in both versions and masks his feelings in both, but by using different measures.)
... Buuuuut this is merely me overanalyzing him again, so take it with a grain of salt!

Oh wow, that is something I haven't thought about yet, so let's see.
YukimiBotamon turning into Nyaromon first for example would be almost self-explanatory, since she's on her own and probably has to fend off other mon to protect herself.
With the others, I'd go with two options:
Option 1: The ones who are more inclined to food AND fight, might evolve first. All of them LOVE food and all of them would protect their partners and each other with their lives, but mons like Botamon/Koromon, Pabumon/Motimon, Poyomon/Tokomon and Pichimon/Pukamon are more obsessed with food than the others, I'd say. But this is obviously a bit harder to quantify, Puninon/Tsunomon and Yuramon/Tanemon feel more reluctant to me, so they might evolve last, and Nyokimon/Pyocomon before them? So:
Option 2: This one may feel more like cheating, but - I could see them grow up through a subconscious connection to their partners. Meaning, they evolve in accordance to their human partners' ages (roughly, since we don't know who's oldest among Sora, Yamato and Taichi as well as between Koushirou and Mimi). So:
That idea has been floating in my drafts for AGES, and even though this is a really messy doodle, I had lots of fun finishing it. I know the concept absolutely isn't new, but... We know that the 8 Digimon partners of the 8 Adventure kids are basically parts/mirrors/fractions of their souls. In some cases, they are quite similar to them, in others, they represent potential/(still) undiscovered, complementary or even suppressed aspects of their personalities.
So... Let's assume Kizuna's premise remained true and the other Digimon have disappeared as well... Maybe there was a possibility to bring them back, but there is a catch: They cannot exist as digital monsters anymore, but as literal mirrors of their partners.
Agumon: He's definitely the more carefree side of Taichi, easy-going if not a little naive, but with his heart at the right spot, always ready to go when he's needed.
Gabumon: While he has definitely gained more confidence (and snark) over time, he represents Yamato's more bashful side.
Piyomon: She is what'd happen if Sora let her loving side out 110%, she's incredibly cheerful and affectionate both vocally and physically.
Tentomon: Due to his expressions usually being hidden, there'd be a stark contrast once turned human, as he's not only very emotional (if not a bit camp), but also quite witty - and basically what Koushirou would be like if he didn't have a filter. (And, as depicted, he'd be quite thrilled to have actual hands.)
Palmon: She's among those who are the closest to their partners in personality - but even if she can be just as opinionated, blunt and comfort-loving as Mimi, she is overall a little more reserved and durable.
Gomamon: He's the most jarring obvious contrast among all human-Digimon partnerships - because even though Jyou learns to become more laid-back and resilient through the years, Gomamon is definitely the more relaxed of the two, fun-loving, cheeky and silly. (And if he ever dared to show up like that in the hospital, there'd be audible gasps along the lines of "DR. KIDOU, DID YOU DYE YOUR HAIR??? AND WHY ARE YOU SMILING SO MUCH??????")
Patamon: Since we're talking about Adult!Takeru now, Patamon is quite clearly his youthful counterpart full of childlike, innocent wonder - even if they can both be quite the trolls teases. (And let's be real, he'll cherish being taller than Tailmon for once without having to resort to his angelic form.)
Tailmon: As she likes to point out herself, Tailmon takes pride in acting "more mature" than the other Digimon - and maybe even her own partner, even if she is a little bit more silly and less serious when she's alone with Hikari.
Granted, their partners would be happy to have them back - but also quite flabbergasted to have them look almost exactly like themselves, just a little to the left. Which is why you can bet that Mimi would initiate a huge make-over for all of them - which I may or may not design at some point as well...
@firedragon1321 Since you were so enthusiastic about the idea, I thought about spinning it a little further!
Agumon: Taichi would have to continuously try not getting teary, even if the similar look gives him emotional whiplash. Mimi would contemplate trimming his hair or at least give him a different fringe to distinguish them more, but Hikari just shakes her head like: "If their hair is the same, you won't get any permanent change done... It has a life of its own." Clothing wise, as a reptile at heart, he'd wear lotsa hoodies and EVEN MORE layers than Taichi.
Gabumon: Like I said before, I think Mimi would make him use more gel to slick the hair back neatly, but Gabumon himself might actually prefer not wearing any gel at all, just letting it fall naturally. He also loves to wear floofy sweaters and hoodies! And he'd try to learn how to play the harmonica himself.
Piyomon: Mimi would show her how to braid her hair and she would ADORE it. She doesn't exactly have a specific preference in clothing "as long as Sora made it", but she actually enjoys floaty dresses to some degree. She's - together with Agumon, Tentomon and Gomamon - in the "I HAVE HANDS" club and loves to give hugs to everyone she comes across (and loves to hold Sora's hand whenever she can).
Tentomon: I think it's safe to assume that Kae and Masami have already accepted him as their second son and he'd be THRILLED to be able to contribute even more in both the Izumi household and Koushirou's company. I believe he'd voluntarily wear glasses to help people separate them better (his red hair IS brighter than Koushirou's maroon colour, but he still insists and also contemplates to let his hair grow out more as well). He isn't too keen to wear formal clothing as it feels restrictive, so he prefers more loose sweaters and shirts and aprons, because he was already used to that as a mon.
Palmon: They'd discuss it INTENTLY and eventually come to the conclusion to give her a wavy bob. And no, Mimi would make sure not to just let her wear flower dresses, so they'd experiment and... Palmon loves to look pretty, they'd watch stuff like "The Devil Wears Prada", so her discovering the world of stunning business attire might be a journey on its own.
Gomamon: I still believe he'd be the most interesting case (to write entire fantictions about), but... Can you imagine the smugness on his face, the absolute glee in his voice to be able to run around with those LONG legs to proclaim: "I AM TALL, I AM FAST, I HAVE HANDS, I AM UNSTOPPABLE NOW, MWAHAHA." Jyou is obviously happy to have him around, but still stresses over having to explain the presence of his extroverted twin ("I thought he only had two older brothers?"). Gomamon loves to wear colourful and flashy shirts, might drop the glasses (or just exchange them with sunglasses). Hair wise, they haven't really made a decision yet.
Patamon: Honestly? They'd completely indulge in being troll twins and just screw with everyone around them by basically wearing the exact same clothes. XD
Tailmon: She just enjoys having the privilege of going wherever whenever she wants now (especially out for dinner with Hikari); she's already somewhat used to a human body thanks to Angewomon, so she gravitates towards wearing white clothes and her hair loose.

Piyomon didnât fight anymore anyway, but Agumon and Gabumon still seemed to be main staples in that regard. Plus, we have Takeru and Hikari + the parts of the 02 squad that are still based in Japan and capable of joining in when real life obligations allow it. Mimi is in America. Jyou doesnât really have time to fight (even though Gomamon would absolutely WANT to). Koushirou is the main coordinator of the group, so Tentomon is LITERALLY on the spot putting pressure on himself since his best bros are not there anymoreâŠÂ
And itâs not too unlikely to think heâd feel guilty when he looks at Taichi⊠Missing Agumon while also knowing that Koushirou will absolutely overwork himself to find a solution (as I love to indicate again and again, but I still hope that we will actually see it in the 02 movie). So he doesnât even know where to startâŠ
 A potential end of this would be Taichi just saying something like âWeâre all family, right?â, reducing Motimon to tears and⊠I really wish to see more bonding between these two! Theyâre both worrying about Koushirou and would absolutely bond over that.
@izumikoushiroweek: Day 2 - What are your Koushirou headcanons?
I probably have way too many headcanons for him to count, so I thought I'd be talking about 12, relating to each of the other Chosen Children and his Digimon partner.
Tentomon: As implied in this art, Tentomon has to remind Koushirou to not only use his PC set-up for work at times, but to get in touch with the outside world as well, including calling his parents. They maintain having a very loving bond and Koushirou actually enjoys talking to his family, even if he has that tendency to get lost in Chosen Children duty, thus pulling way too many allnighters in his office. Tentomon helps practicing to "talk about feelings" and such and since he was always integrated in almost all of Koushirou's activities as emotional support or "personal assistant" (aside from occasionally getting back into the server realm or Digital World to "recharge"), their bond has never vanished. (Practicing also includes hugs. Tentomon loves them dearly. Koushirou does too.)
Taichi: I probably have a million different headcanons when it comes to their bond, but I think one of the things I am particularly fond of is the idea that Taichi easily picked up on Koushirou's quirks and habits over the years - and that's why he notices stuff others don't realize that quickly. He is very particular about what exact brands of oolong tea Koushirou likes, that he cannot stand coffee or doesn't take alcohol very well. They also have tons of insiders and catchphrases other people just give them weird looks over. They're basically on each other's speed dial, especially considering they're working together as adults. And, last but not least, I think Taichi would be the very first human friend who learns about Koushirou's adoption history, being incredibly supportive about it. (One time, Yuuko probably said something along the lines of "If I could, I would already have adopted Koushirou-kun into our family" and Taichi almost flipped because of the wording, but Koushirou told him it was fine, since he knew she meant it well. They both get along with each other's moms very well by the way.)
Yamato: After they returned from the Digital World for the first time, Yamato actually fulfilled his (PSP game only) promise and showed Koushirou how to cook a few easy recipes (besides how to boil the perfect egg). While Koushirou will probably never be a master cook and prefers stuff that is easy to make/get and eat - and while working -, food is actually something they occasionally bond over. They may not be as passionate about it as Mimi and Daisuke, but they'd absolutely surprise the others with their very own curry creations.
Sora: I've probably mentioned this a million times already, but in my mind, they're destined to become "fashion (and texting) buddies". Takeru - as well as Mimi or Miyako - may be a hundred times more comfortable in being experimental, but these two definitely have to figure themselves out first and foremost, breaking some gender stereotypes in the meantime and would 100% be there for each other (while moping and bonding over Taichi's and Yamato's antics). Let Sora help Koushirou to find his own personal wardrobe while he would support her in getting her designs going digitally - once the time is right.
Mimi: Since Mimi slowly but steadily becomes more acquainted with technology through the years, it shouldn't be surprising that they're becoming "calling buddies". Mimi always preferred calling over typing and since Koushirou is helping her to set up her online business, they also end up chatting for hours without end about literally everything - and they absolutely suck at ending their calls. Mimi keeps telling Koushirou to rest, but she's terrible at just saying "Bye then!". Time zone differences make this even more of an issue and it often happens that one of them just falls asleep while the other rambles.
Jyou: Gomamon and Tentomon forced them to become "coffee shop buddies". I'm not kidding. They were so fed up with them burying themselves in uni/regular work that they ended up making them have "Go outside for a change, let's grab something to eat!!!" meetings once a month (at minimum, since Gomamon was done with cooking and wanted to get treats too and Tentomon loved the idea; occasionally they pull Sora and/or Taichi with them too). Since Jyou never felt intimidated by Koushirou's intellect but knows his struggles with "keeping his mental health together", they have an easy time blowing off some steam.
Takeru: Koushirou and Takeru actually grew closer with each other during "transition years" between middle and high school. With Taichi, Yamato and Sora facing high school entrance exams and eventually leaving middle school, Koushirou was more likely to spend time after school with "the 02 squad" for a while (and the two of them and Hikari would definitely have study sessions together at this point in time). Takeru is also among those who's more skilled with computers, which is why he's easily third admin of the Chosen Children network (with Miyako being second), but also likes to ask Koushirou for advice - who happily rambles along (and they're also "meme buddies", sending each other random stuff in the middle of the night they came across and thought the other would find interesting). Takeru will also be among the first who gets to hear about his adoption history in more detail and he'll absolutely feel more attached to Koushirou because of it.
Hikari: Aside from me being convinced that he is archiving all the photos she's been taking in the Digital World for years (while also helping her to set up her own digital photobooks), one of my favourite headcanons is that Hikari's the main reason why Koushirou turned out to be "a cat person"; he has been around the Yagami residence way too many times in his life and probably thought he couldn't really "get along" with cats in general. But Miko, after having been reluctant at first, warmed up to him rather quickly after Hikari kept her around in the same room as them. So the cat would just end up resting next to him while he was typing away on his laptop. (Sometimes he watches Tentomon curling into a ball when falling asleep next to him and Koushirou cannot help but feel reminded of a cat as well and he finds it adorable.)
Daisuke: Despite Ken being the closest person to him overall, Daisuke has had a hard time talking to Koushirou for YEARS, still having a tendency of wanting to appear extra smart in front of him. It was a lot easier when Taichi, Ken or Mimi were around, he could talk normally then, but even worse when Takeru was there too, because he felt double-intimidated. Koushirou noted that behaviour, didn't get it though, so Taichi had to explain it to him in a sense of "Imagine being the new kid in football club that thinks he can't kick a ball if the ace striker is watching him", to which Koushirou just nodded. They absolutely met for a football match a few days later - and that's how Koushirou ended up in goal, Daisuke, who scored numerous goals against him, started to act a lot less tense afterwards.
Ken: Imagining a scenario in which Menoa gets redeemed (and maybe after they find a way to get their partners back), I could see Koushirou and Ken being very keen to make her realize that she should also rather invest her intellect in improving the infrastructure between the worlds instead of harbouring feelings of vengeance and bitterness... They're all smart muffins with bug babies after all. (And Koushirou would definitely be interested in figuring out why both Ken and Menoa were so prone to "getting corrupted" while he himself was mostly spared... They're not exactly prone to trauma dumping, Ken in particular struggles with it a lot, but that's another case of "once he knows Koushirou's back story, it gets easier to open up.")
Miyako: Miyako pretends that she's bothered by Chosen Children Network duty a lot, and it maaaay be a bit bothersome at times, but the truth is that she felt intimidated by all the effort Koushirou put into it. Aside from Iori, she always looked up to him as senpai the most and didn't want to appear incapable in comparison. If Koushirou didn't know he could entrust it to her, he would have given it to Takeru first, but despite her spunky, sometimes unpredictable nature, he trusted in her judgement and communicative skills from the start without a doubt.
Iori: By the start of his uni life, Iori really values the privacy of Koushirou's office to use it as study space - especially because he's getting resources there for law school he wouldn't easily get access to without spending horrendous amounts of money. And because they just enjoy each other's company, being a lot more grounded than the rest of their friends. Just like in middle school, they end up having study sessions, often joined by Takeru, but also occasionally by Ken, going through several of their study subjects - sometimes they even go for outside activities (because Koushirou is most likely not used to those anymore and needs to keep up on physical training too - when they get the opportunity, they take Jyou with them too).
