OKAY, SO, I’M EXCITED! So, Kyle, the guy who leads sax ensemble, said that Mason had been requesting a video game song for a while, and asked for recommendations. I requested Xenoblade Chronicles because it has a kicking soundtrack. But, then I realized, I don’t think you can play that music on just one soprano sax, five alto saxes, three tenor saxes, and two bari saxes. I realized that after requesting the song Tragic Decisions, and Kyle was like “remember it has to fit in a sax ensemble setting.” Then I got really embarrassed and thought about my mistake until two a.m. Wow, this post went downhill fast.
We had a great Sax Ensemble concert tonight! This has been one of the best ensemble experiences I have ever had :) can't wait to see what next semester brings!
