C++ is a gift from the universe and I believe we dont appreciate it enough
it is one thing to know, or be vaguely aware at least, that wg21, a.k.a. the iso c++ standard committee, is primarily composed of academics, which may be tangentially related to the standard library being known primarily for being bloated and slow to compile.
it is another thing entirely to have a person from the committee explicitly say, on camera, that a) they have an ambition to lead the language, and b) they mostly do language design, they don't really code (i am not kidding, ref. a recent (june '26) interview on the wookash podcast on yt).
my gltf parser that i specifically wanted to write in somewhat idiomatic c++ takes two seconds to just have its header parsed by gcc in unoptimized builds; the header is included everywhere that deals with assets.
combine these two realisations that i had recently and you hopefully understand my plea for help: if you have any form, direct or indirect, of accessing the jai compiler, i will deal in golden shekels.
