Antique Sawakhalok Celadon Bowl, Thailand, 14th/15th century, a sturdily potted wheel thrown stoneware bowl with everted rim and chamfered lip. The cavetto has vertical combed lines enclosed above and below by several incised circular bands. The center medallion is composed of incised circles. The outside wall has some incised bands but is mostly smooth and undecorated. All covered in a thin transparent moss green celadon glaze with a small crackle.

The deep cavetto has an upper decorative band of combed broken comma pattern enclosed above and below by two incised circular bands.The center medallion is composed of an incised spiral. The outside wall is smooth and undecorated. All covered in a good transparent sea foam green celadon glaze having a medium crackle.
