Sherlolly Appreciation Week 2019 Day 1
‘‘So, bad day was it?’‘
Molly snorted with bitter amusement. The understatement of the year. But she appreciated the sentiment behind Sherlock’s choice of words.
‘‘You could say that I guess,’‘ she said while she felt him sitting beside her.
She was sitting on Bart's rooftop, the very same rooftop where Sherlock faked his death and Jim Moriarty blew his brains out. She heard Sherlock releasing a deep breath.
"Anything that I can do to help?" he asked.
"Not really, no," she answered. "But thank you."
"Are you sure?" he insisted.
"Yeap! But again thanks for the offer."
"Yes well... Tell me if you change your mind."
"I will. Now tell me what can I do for you?" she asked and turned to look at him for the first time since he found her.
"You can tell me what to do to make your day better," Molly shook her head and rolled her eyes but Sherlock was determined. "I'm serious Molly. I'm your husband and it's within my marital duties to help you feel better. So tell me what to do. I'm all yours."
Molly couldn’t help but smile at him. She had married an impossible man and God help her but she loved him more and more every day.
‘‘Well if you insist, you could give me a hug I guess. It’s pretty chilly up here.’‘
He didn’t need to be told twice. He put her in his arms and covered her as best as he could in his coat, her cheek in his chest, his cheek in her head.
‘‘That’s all you need?’‘ he asked.
‘‘It will do for now. There is one more thing that I want but will have to wait until we go home.’‘
‘‘May I ask what’s the thing that you want?’‘
‘‘Well... Without giving away too much... Let’s just say that we’ll start with the riding crop.’‘
