Ryan tilted his head and wondered how in the world Emma managed to drink the whole bottle of beer. He was sitting at the far end of the room where all of their school mates were getting drunk and trying to grope whichever girl was closer. The room was charged with sexual tension, he could feel it but it wasn’t his thing. 

No, Ryan Mills preferred to just sit back and relax with a non-alcoholic drink in his hand. He wasn’t the kind of guy to be always out and chasing after girls. He had law school ahead of him and he needed to focus on that. 

But the thing that was distracting him of lately was Emma Swan. She was beautiful, with long curvy blond hair and piercing green eyes. Her body was toned and yet very sexy. There were time where Ryan could focus on anything else and he would lock himself in his room, though his mother Cora wouldn’t approve of the locked door.

He’d become accustomed to showing up in Emma’s bedroom whenever he was bored or lonely.  And considering that the only other interaction he got with people was when he was making deals, that was quite often.  Sometimes Emma wouldn’t be there, and he’d leave before she came back but other times she would be there and he would get to spend some time with the princess he had befriended.

Initially Rumple had not been looking for a friend in Emma.  She always had been interesting being that she was a product of true love, and had the potential to be powerful once properly trained in magic, interesting enough that he wanted to use her.  Getting to know her as a child had been a way of getting her to trust him at first.  Now, he found that he really did care about her.  He’d allowed himself to get close to her and to get attached in a way he rarely did with others.

Rumple appeared in the princess’s room in his usual cloud of purple smoke.  A quick glance told him that she wasn’t there at the moment but he settled down in a chair to wait.  It wasn’t like he had anything pressing to do that day.  He could wait as long as it took.
