But at the very end of the theme, it...seems like briefly changes and comes to an abrupt end. It had been feeling consistently fun and upbeat, like we were on an adventure and it feels like the notes start to build up to something cool but suddenly drops in a way that feels...odd. Like we were on an fun adventure that suddenly took a turn for the worst. Now, this is pure speculation, but perhaps that’s how Marcy felt at the end of “Day at the Aquarium” when Anne opted to leave. The fun ended. And then there’s that weird record scratch (idk what that sound is) noise that overpowers the final notes. Almost as if someone was purposefully playing and interfering with the controls at a soundboard to change the theme at the end. Like a certain King trying to manipulate Marcy at her low point perhaps? It just seemed like an odd way to end such an upbeat theme. Too purposeful.
