Marvel Team-Up 81 pg1 by Mike Vosburg
When I was younger, I had a Marvel graphic novel simply entitled "Girl Comics." Inside, there was one story that I now know was called "Chaos Theory," and I never really knew who it was about, because the main character went unnamed. I sketched and watercoloured this picture this evening, from my memory of the story - I'm not sure why I was thinking about it, but I was. All I could remember was the butterfly imagery, and the connection the butterflies had to souls - also that the character had long, wavy hair. I had a feeling it was red, so that was the colour I went with. Luckily, after a long Google search, I figured out that this character was Satana, and I probably shouldn't have been reading that issue when I was so young.
"Chaos Theory" written by Kelly Sue DeConnick and illustrated by Adriana Melo and Mariah Benes. Sorry for the low-quality image.
