Samuel P Taylor State Park

Just went camping at Samuel P. Taylor State Park with @jopumpkins & Ben. It was beautiful! Amazing to sleep under giant redwoods only an hour from Oakland. She works in healing & social justice and he's a rocket scientist - needless to say - great talks. Fun silliness ensued! I'm more geared up now (I'm looking at you Jetboil!). Can't wait for the next camping adventure. Fun fact: Did you know you could find bay leaves (for cooking) in many of northern CA's forests? I didn't! Just came back from camping! Not where these photos were taken - these were from the last @waywardretreats. At the retreat, I promised myself I would get into the wilderness every month.
