Can the nitwit who’s been terrifying first years with a conveniently placed bluetooth speaker playing eerily, whispery Latin (I think it is?) to frighten everyone into thinking there’s a monster lurking in the caste, please stop? There’s a time for fun and games. Now is not the time.

Hi everyone, Sammy Skeeter here.

So I’m now starting my fourth year and it’s been fun to settle back into the school year. What I can’t ignore is the unfortunate events that happened at a couple of weeks ago at Hogsmeade. I will be doing my best to keep you, the student body, updated on any of the proceedings on the investigation. Of course, if you have anything you want to say regarding the incident, feel free to here.

Over the year... I’ll be keeping you up to date with all the things happening at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I’ll be updating you on the Quidditch scores, events, clubs and anything that you’d expect in a little weekly update.

I will also be accepting owls. So if you’re a student looking for some advice on homework, making friends, which teachers to watch out for or the best advice for winning the Quidditch cup my time is always yours, no query is too big or too small. I’m here to offer my help and all questions are open to public feedback! As stated, I am only a fourth year, I don’t claim to know all! I’m not magic!

With this job, you can’t avoid the gossip. Newspapers love drama, so if you have any rumours or stories worth a read. Drop me a letter! I’ll take a look. All I ask is that if there is a serious rumour or named accusation, you throw some evidence in. Let’s play fair here folks, we all like credible sources here.
