Hmmm. The Little Mermaid. Not only the Disney version, but the original Hans Christian Andersen story. I spent a straight year singing those songs, and I was an avid reader, even at 8 years old, so when I found the original, I was excited.
I will never, ever forget my horror at what I read. Never.

Pffft. Am I unique? I dunno. Let me think … I like … the fact that when I fall in love with something - hobby, author, activity, idea, [or person] I put all my energy into learning the ins and outs of it, I will not rest until I am *at least* adept. It happens quick too. Some might call it hyperfocus. I call it dedication.

You see, I would have liked to post a picture of your artwork framed in a special place on my wall, but it turned out tricky to find a frame for it.
