So, how did Cesar’s whole transformation thing start?
My best guess is, judging from what you’ve said before, that he was attack by a vampire, and either started turning immediately, or it took a few hours to actually take effect. I’m also guessing that in that timeframe, Cesar called Mark, either tricking him while being in a blood craze, or genuinely scared because of what was happening to him. Either way, it ended with Mark going to Cesar’s house, getting attack, and subsequently turning into a Dhampir.

Actually you've got a pretty good idea of the events! Though some are different, yes the vampirism takes a bit of time to set in, but Cesar goes to Mark's house post attack instead of Mark going to Cesars.
You don't really lose much by not watching Jack, his content is really cringy. He's also doing this PMA thing which honestly is really offensive towards the mental health community.
