- they dgaf about wcc position, only about gifting wins to one specific driver

- george starts making mysterious hints at what is going on bts

Oooh but WWX killed people as well. Yeah there's a difference, WWX was both entitled to and expected to seek revenge for his clan, it's the time period he was in. An eye for an eye and all that. Not to mention he was traumatised, but his trauma and torture is often overlooked here as well.

JGY on the other hand, yeah he had a naff life. His dad was an ass and people treated him like dirt. But that does not justify him killing people because they said bad things about him and his mother. That doesn't mean he can murder people because they stole his glory or pushed him down the stairs. That does not mean he should wipe out an entire clan because they opposed his idea of building watchtowers. It does not mean he should manipulate his wife to commit suicide or kill his own son to cover his own mistakes. None of that is justified.

No one is saying JGY didn't deserve a little bit of revenge for his poor treatment, it's the gravity of his actions. They do not weigh up with the actions against him. This is the exact argument XXC has with XY! As is the way in their world, revenge is to be expected and XXC isn't annoyed at XY for taking it, he's annoyed at the extent he went to for one finger. The fact the sweetest, purest man in the novel doesn't mind if XY had taken the man's finger or whole hand just shows how their world works. Even those not used to such time periods or xianxia novels should be able to work this out from this scene!

Any argument justifying JGYs actions is just ludicrous and it's absolutely hilarious that in the same breath they condemn WWX for exacting revenge the right way 😂 and yes, WWX did get carried away once, but he owned that mistake, he admitted. That's the whole point, he knows he went too far and admitted it, regretted it, unlike the rest of the people in the novel (bar LWJ who does something similar).

I'm not saying WX did nothing wrong, they both made a mistake, they're only human... but they realised it as such and did not repeat those mistakes ever again. That's why they're the moral ideal.
