“one physical feature… i dunno. my dirty looks? pretty good at those. maybe the whole beard situation. people froth a beard, apparently - people other than my mum, anyway. she hates it. but yeah. anyway. like i said - i don’t fuckin’ know. clearly i need some more bloody compliments.”

bonfire - describe your dream house.

“I actually came really close to having this once - or at least the general idea. Basically I want a huge farmhouse somewhere out in the country on acres of land I own. It’s going to be massive, with a bunch of rooms, because it’s going to be filled with a ton of my queer friends - somewhere we can all be safe instead of dealing with little microaggressions every damn day we just try to exist. We’ll all work the land, we’ll all probably be in love - just a nice little farming commune away from all the bullshit. That’s all I need.”

“One thing? I have to pick one thing. All right, uh…let’s go for something close to home. I’d make it so that nobody in the world could tell a kid that what they felt was invalid. None of it. Their dreams, their gender, their fears, their sexuality, their desires - no one could look at a child and tell them that they don’t feel those things.”
