Here's my theory for how s2 of the pitt is gonna pan out
The day shift is gonna get slammed as usual but will manage to leave on time (this is assured by Robby who wants to get out on the open road and start his sabbatical).
The season is 15 episodes long, therefore 15 hours, so we will follow the night shift (most likely with Dr Parker Ellis as attending as we know she's pulling a double and is still at the hospital). Jack Abbot is doing SWAT stuff on his days off instead of catching some sleep for his night shift so we know he's not working. Jack will either be at home or hanging around the hospital to ensure his teammate, Hiro, comes out of the OR alive and okay.
I believe we are going to follow the night shift for maybe an hour/episode before there is a major trauma coming in. A motorbike/car collision, which we quickly discover is none other than Robby.
It's been hammered down that when we see Robby in the ER, he's the boss. That that's the only role we see him in. The narrative is going to be flipped on its head and the character's are going to be knocked off kilter when Robby is suddenly a patient.
Theyre going to get him stabilised (i pray) and Ellis is going to have to notify Jack that Robby has been in a major accident and is in critical condition (I believe that Robby would have Jack down as his emergency contact).
We would potentially get to see Jack Abbot in a different way as well, where he's not cool, calm, collected, but a little frazzled.
