As the days bleed into weeks aboard the Springhawk, and the bitter taste of Thrawn's exile still linger's in the mouths of those who once served under him, Samakro knows his job is to keep everyone in line—including himself. He had let his true feelings for Thalias slip during the battle over Sunrise, and neither of them had forgotten it. But there are some lines that shouldn't be crossed, and some lines are merely supposed to be danced upon.
