Osweiller: Alright, nobody panic! We're gonna have to split up, just like in Scooby Doo. Lights, you and Sykes will be like Scooby and Shaggy, you go check around the kitchens and well lit areas. Javi, you get the spooky looking cave on the other side of the mountain like Velma. Oh, and you'll need this.

Javi: Wait, why am I Velma? And why do I get the...dubious looking device?

Osweiller: Because only a true Velma would say "dubious looking device". Any other stupid questions?

Sykes: So what does that make you? Fred?

So these two are a couple now I guess? Oz and Boki? Never would have seen that coming!

These two and Roche were probably my favorites all season. I like Daveed Diggs but I'm sorry Layton, I didn't really care about his baby or his baby mama. Although Zarah did not deserve to die.

Neither did Ben. That was a sad way to go, especially with Bess realizing too late what he was planning to do. She probably feels guilty about it, I'm sure.

The lack of Melanie this season was fine with me, although I feel like the storyline as a whole this season lagged a little bit. Particularly at the times where it was focused on Melanie, Wilford, and Nima.

The guys in the white suits were cool, but I feel like fleshing out their personalities was probably cast aside since there weren't going to be any new seasons.

Overall, the ending message of this show was rather positive, and I really like that! Better than some endings when I compare it to the endings of some of my other favorite shows like The 100 and The Umbrella Academy (imo,The 100, should have ended with everyone dead. TUA should have ended happily instead of delivering a message of "better if you didn't exist")

I would place Snowpiercer's ending level with the ending of Animal Kingdom, although Animal Kingdom was very much a bitter sweet ending. So they're kind of polar opposites in that matter but how things were wrapped up were done in a timely and neat manner.

First of all how dare you. I don't ram my favourite ship down your necks at all. I don't think about them 24/7 and have a ten hour playlist about them. No siree.

🧡 a favorite friendship

Sam and Ruth! I need their back story, stat. They're both so freaking cute in a pillars of the establishment way 😅. They're both coming to the start of the series with problematic viewpoints and yet both end up really moving with the people rather than protocol. Plus, you know, Ruth as stand-in mum for Alex in New Eden and Sam is Carly's dad. Cute little blended family thing going on there for sure. Side note though if anyone tries to make them romantic I will cut you.

Also fun to note when I was thinking on this one I realised I'm super fond of the bond Layton and Ruth eventually develop ❤️❤️❤️

💚 a ship that you think deserves more love

Obviously canon ships do get a lot of love but looking at the figures on Ao3, Brakenight is trailing behind (albeit some of those fics are looooong. Looking at you, @train-pirate). It's the ship that brought me to Snowpiercer fic in the first place and there'll always be a special place in my heart for canon sapphics. Plus you know, Lena Hall 😍

💜 a crack ship

Ruboki!! @cinnammontea kindly introduced us to Ruth/Boki in New Eden and I'm never getting over it. My favourite things about this ship include: Rushenka, Snowpeter's reappearance, scars, hugs, Boki learning English slang, Ruth learning Serbian, reminiscing about Melanie, and Ruth's shockingly high alcohol tolerance.
