THIS CREATURE IS SO FUCKING RAW DUDE!!!!!!!!!! A MYTHICAL GOD HYDRA MADE OUT OF STONE AND CRYSTAL!!!! HOW THE HELL DID WE EVEN GET TO THIS POINT OF FIGHTING GOD LIKE BEINGS! I DONT KNOW BUT I LOVE IT DUDE!!!

IT TURNS INTO A GIANT DRILL HEAD AND YOU FIGHT AGAINST IT WITH THE DEEP CUT TRICOLOUR SHOUT PLAYING AHHHHHHH!!!!!!! THIS THING IS SO SICK! This is the direction i wanted Splatoon to go down when it comes to it's villains, make them disturbing and mythical creatures like what Kirby has to deal with.

Now i do wanna say one thing about this freak, there are some people out there that are saying that the Salmonarch is taking away the agency of the Salmonids and is.... sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................... can't believe I'm gonna say this but, "brainwashing" the Salmonids into being berserk and going wild. (The Splatoon community really loves using that word as much as Nintendo does.)

Here's the thing though right, the Salmonids have a very different culture compared to Inklings and Octolings, they are a culture that is focused on fighting and dying. The reason they are covered in salt and play music is because they wanna seem more tasty to their opponents. They live and breathe battle and ascending to the heavens. We cannot put human morality into the Salmonid because their behaviour is so vastly different than ours. We cannot say that the Salmonarch has total control over the Salmonid too and that it's forcing them to do things they don't wanna do. The Salmonid do festivals and give offerings to the giant power egg that hatches the Salmonarch later on. The Salmonarch and Salmonids share the same beliefs and goals of battle and destruction. There is no evidence that i could find that the Salmonids are scared of the Salmonarch and don't wish to fight, unless someone can provide the evidence for it. Salmonids and peaceful don't really go together.

The Salmonids aren't inherently good or evil because those terms are made by us and cannot be applied to other animals. Salmonids are the most animalistic and aggressive group in the Splatoon universe, they do have intelligence as seen with their weapons, their trade agreement with the Octarians, and music, but their intelligence is different from the Inklings and Octarians you know? The Salmonarch does obviously have some influence over the Salmonids but i don't think it's that much all things considered, i like to see it as it enhancing the Salmonids to make them stronger and increase their already aggressive behaviour to another level. The Salmonarch can be considered evil to us because obviously it wants to annihilate the planet, but to the Salmonids it's probably viewed very differently.

Anyways can we go through a Splatoon story without the brain being washed mentioned, that would be cool, thanks.
