i would definitely have to say that i’m tired of hearing people say that claire is ONLY this cold, heartless woman.  that  just  doesn’t  seemtrue to me.  is  she  a  badass? damn  fucking  right  she  is.  is  she capable  of  the  same ruthless pragmatism that her husband is? youbet your ass. but there’s all these people catching the ice queen vibeand missing the other parts of her that are just as important- the part that regrets not having children,  the  part  of her  that  acknowledges that she might have wanted more than francis was willing to give her,the part of her that gives into her emotions from time to time, the partof her that experiences guilt, and the part of her that is capable of love.i FUCKING  can’t  stand it when people disregard the human parts ofher and basically  make  her nothing  more  than  francis’s bitch wife.like yes, she is cruel and cunning and calculating and manipulative,but you can’t  recognize  all  that  and then ignore the fact that she is still a woman, still just  as  human  as  anyone  else.  stop  trying  to make complicated characters one-dimensional 2k16.
