I have about 750ish hours invested through steam and I love it. The devs work actively with the community on bugs and accessibility features. They've added some truly insane items with the focus on QOL and replayability.
If you like your game universe to include mad (fully documented) science, eldritch beings, Black Mesa/Half Life incursions and what might be the most annoying coworker you've ever had (Damn Thule!), then I would recommend this.
No tree punching (okay, maybe a little fisticuffs) or stone mining, you build armour and weaponry from couch cushions and staplers.
Survival craftering, dodgy science, and a truly interesting report to the union for later.

Oh man, there are so many that I really really love! Sam is a total badass and then there is Mali too.
Though I gotta say that my absolute favorite is probably Papa Bear (and technically Oaks). I just love that the bits you get to know about him through Oaks, like how he apparently have taught Oaks everything when it comes to live with humans and even told him how to kiss. :P And then there is his super chill moments where he just doesn’t give a fudge and wears a pajamas 24/7. (and then when he refuses to let Oaks cut his fur so he doesn’t overheat during the summer or that he doesn’t want to participate in the hot pot because he actually doesn’t like spicy foods...I love him)
Though it makes me super sad that he doesn’t participate in any of the events in Portia. It doesn’t seem like people are rejecting him, but he just stays away and watches from a distance and I just want to give him a big HUG. (I always give him a pot of royal honey so he’ll get super happy :p)

Have you ever had an issue with the main quest not progressing? Piper won't interact with me once I'm inside. I'm still looking up answers on the forums, but was wondering if you had an idea. Thanks!
I’ve had but mine was stuck while going to the Institute. The only fix I know is to just use console commands to finish the quest and continue with the next one in the chain.

Here’s what it says:
SetStage <Quest stage number> – Moves the quest in your questlog to the indicated quest stage. ...
GetStage – Returns the quest's current stage number. ...
sqt – Show Quest Target: Generates a list of current quest targets. ...
CompleteQuest – Completes the given quest.
If that doesn’t work you can try to ‘resurrect’ or ‘resetai’ Piper, but otherwise I don’t know what more you can do :/ This usually happens with heavy modding so reload a save and see which mod might’ve caused it.

Man, Dungeon Crawler Carl got released on Webtoon and I'm actually really really happy about it. Carl's inner monologue is obviously much shortened, but so far each chapter is hitting right. There hasn't been any language censoring, so it's full of the GOD FUCKING DAMMIT DONUT!!!s I've been hoping for.
Genital nudity is censored, but the gore is NOT. And that's with no fade to black either. There may be one tiny instance in the first 'preview' the characters watch, but more than likely it's to focus on Carl and Donut's expressions than the violence.
If you were interested in DCC but don't have time to read the books or the audiobooks are too busy for you; I would recommend giving the Webtoon a chance.
Donut is living her best Queen Anne Chonk life and I've laughed at every panel.
