Stiles goes to work in a company where people are afraid of their boss, the boss is Derek.  At the end they discover that Stiles and Derek are together, at the end Stiles was pregnant.  

I just read a 1 shot fic where Derek had sex with Stiles to save his life, now I need to read one that has the aftermath of that kind of choice… I know there are more but it’s such a long time since I read them that I don’t even know how to look for them… Please help me to find some of those.

Hi everyone!

I'm really hoping someone can help me out. There's a quote I read that has stuck with me, and I'm about 70% sure it came from a Sterek fanfic, likely on AO3 since that's my go-to site. The quote goes along the lines of:

"Let's all get rid of the idea that happiness is a permanent state of being that we have to attain, and that any little discomfort or hurt or unhappiness is somehow a sign that the universe is out of balance. It isn’t. Happiness is one part on the spectrum of human experience. No more or less important than sadness or anger or regret or any other part we care to name."

I might have edited it when I saved it, which is why it doesn't seem to show up in any searches I've done on the internet or fanfiction sites. If anyone recognizes this quote or knows the source, I would be incredibly grateful. It's been on my mind, and I’d love to revisit the original work.
