Diversity in TV has been challenging to clearly and cleanly identify. Current social themes and issues are masterfully illuminated while focusing on the strength and power in maintaining family connections, education and morality. The lead character Jefferson Pierce is a family man, leader of his community who implores wisdom when fighting crime.
