Can Web journalism replace Traditional journalism?
We are living in a modern world, the use of technology is increasing day by day. Many people have an access to internet to post whatever they want in social networking cites like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Tumblr, etc. When it comes to journalism Online journalism is more accessible than traditional journalism. All forms of information are being sited on the internet, anyone with computer and cellphone can obtain more breaking news than ever before and they can get that as it happens. Online journalism is supposedly quicker, cheaper, and more convenient than traditional journalism. In Traditional journalism it requires money, yes money. You can’t buy newspapers, magazines, journals without money. However, newspapers, magazines and journals can publish online but anyways Traditional journalism requires time to disseminate information to the public. It take an hours for readers to retrieve next update news. Now, the question that comes to my mind was “Can Web journalism replace Traditional journalism?” and my answers is for me they are both important and both giving informations to the public but in different ways. I don’t think Traditional journalism will be replace maybe it will slightly decline but as long as print is making money Traditional journalism is here to stay..
