Hi! I was wondering how you came up with Pat's character? What inspired him?
Funnily enough it all started from SagginGardenz. I drew a Mudokon ballerina figurine in Bursar's office. And then thought "who could this figurine be made after? How would ballerinas in Oddworld look like?"
At the time I also promised myself not to make any more female OCs apart from Mel, because females are supposed to be rare in Oddworld. So I was like "femboy it is".
Also here's me drawing Pat as that figurine years later.
Hello! I’m a big fan of your Oddworld content! ^^ I have to ask: How did you come up with Mel’s story?
Long before Soulstorm was released, me and my friend had mudokon OCs that we would roleplay as half jokingly, half seriously. Mine was Izya and hers was Pamela, and they were "two idiots" that Abe forgot to rescue from RuptureFarms so they escaped on their own. At the time we kinda ignored the canon and created girl OCs though there's not supposed to be girls at factories.
When Soulstorm was released, I remembered about this story and thought what if there was a girl at a factory that just accidentally got there and no one knew about it?
And things just kinda went from there. Izya became Iz and Pam became Mel. And I also decided to make it a completely separate story from Abe and RuptureFarms, so created "a opposite" from a meat factory - a fruit processing factory that we now know as SagginGardenz.

Iz: "Well... better than sniffing pesticides every day ain't it.."
Mel: "Yeah.. you're starting to look like a drone or something!"
Iz: "Ha-ha... Don't be ridiculous."
