Samhain is the time of the final harvest, a time when witches and farmers alike collect the last crops and herbs to dry and store for the winter. Ancient Celts believed that the púca, or shapeshifting fairy-type creatures, would spit on and ruin with their magic any crops left out after the 31st. The ancient Greeks believed any crops left after this date belonged to Hecate. These types of olde world beliefs bleed into our modern celebrations and rituals for Halloween, and were inspirational for this design. These three Final Harvest Rings will be available on the 11th at 8pm est. The first one features rare, earthy, Manassa turquoise set between a copper pumpkin and brass crescent. It is a size 6. The center features a stunning Australian opal cut by @keithcler, and is a size 7.5. The last features a prismatic Mexican fire opal, and is a size 8.5. I gave all of these statement rings a matte finish, to echo the mood of this glorious season.
