Alia Bhatt has been jumping from one film shooting to another because post her last film- Abhishek Varman’s Kalank, Alia started shooting for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and after a schedule wrap of the film, Alia Bhatt started shooting with daddy Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 and Karan Johar’s Takht. And yesterday, a picture of Alia Bhatt went viral on social media wherein Mahesh Bhatt is seen giving a pep talk to Alia while Aditya Roy Kapur is seen standing beside them.

While the shooting of the film kick-started in Mumbai, the cast and the crew later jetted off to Ooty and Mysore to shoot for the film. It was on Mahesh Bhatt’s 70th birthdat that Alia Bhatt took to social media to announce that Mahesh Bhatt is back to direction after almost 27 years with Sadak 2. Just when the film had gone on floors in Mumbai, Alia Bhatt shared a clapboard of the film with her fatehr’s hand and she had penned a heartfelt note as she wrote, “And that's my father, now also my director, holding the clap. I begin shoot in a few days and honestly, I’m petrified. I feel like a tiny mouse trying to climb a beautiful, immense, emotional mountain. I hope I make it to the top and if I fall I hope I’m able to get up again. It’s a tough climb but from everything I’ve seen and everything I’ve heard, I know every single step and misstep will be worth it!.”

Talking about Sadak, the film was a romantic thriller and the story revolved around the love story of a taxi driver and a woman forced into prostitution and how he rescues her from the shackles of the racket. As per reports, Sadak 2 will see Alia Bhatt exposing a fake guru who runs an ashram. Sadak 2 stars Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles.
