A: The important thing is that… Is that everything is over now. And… the social media thing has an easy solution. Well, we are officially friends again.
N: I was awful to you. I was the worst. And not only for blocking you but… for the things that I said to you, you didn’t deserve them. I’m sorry.
A: That’s in the past*. Also, you have told me worse things. It’s a habit between us two.
N: What if we start all over?
A: Okay. Why not? What’s up, I’m Alejandro, I’m in Sciences** and I think I’m in the same class as a friend of yours that’s called Amira, maybe?
N: I am Nora, and I’m in Social Sciences.
A: Nice to meet you.
N: Nice to meet you too. How are you?
A: Very good. Nora, I… I also have something to tell you.
N: Say it.
A: It’s been a shitty year for me, you know?
N: Are you doing poorly in your exams?
A: Worse than that. I can’t retake a year again. They would kill me at home.
N: Do you want me to help you?
A: Late. Also I… I don’t even know what I want to study or… When I have a book in front of me it’s like nothing sticks. And fuck, it’s always the same. I fail, they tell me off, I feel like an asshole, and back to the start. I’m fed up.
N: And… What are you gonna do?
A: I’m going to London now. There, at least I’ll learn English and I’ll do something useful with my life, or that’s what my parents say.
N: To London. Well, sounds good. Next year I’m probably going away too. With my sister.
A: That...That sounds better. So, we aren’t gonna see each other for… another year and a half. I suppose this wasn’t our moment.
N: I suppose. I’m gonna miss you.
A: Me too.
